How do you know how to apply a metallic paint, or multi-color paint, or a chalkboard paint?

The keys to having success with specialty paint systems are first understanding and following the instructions on technical data sheets and application instruction sheets, and second having well-rounded painters who have applied a wide variety of different finishes, and are skilled with different equipment and techniques in order to have the feel of how to apply a product in a manner that will deliver a superior finish. With these types of projects our work is truly as much of an art as it is a science.
